Sunday running procedure
I thought it best to confirm procedures ahead of Sunday. We are running in line with Government guidelines on Covid19 and that by attending, you are not showing symptoms, have not been in contact with someone who has Covid and are not having to self isolate.
Gates will open at 9.30. Please arrive as timely as possible to allow us to allocate pit spaces and park people up.
As previously said: entry per race car admits 1 driver + mechanic – 2 people per race car. No other passengers will be admitted and you will be turned away.
This is a “behind closed doors” session, additional vehicles or spectators will be turned away. If you have not booked in and pre paid you will not be given entry.
Once in your allocated pit space, please stick to it as much as possible and adhere to social distancing guidelines when out of your pit space. When leaving your pit space, you are required to wear a face covering (either helmet or face mask that you provide).
I will run a drivers briefing at 10.45 outside race control – please can all attend (masked up and at a 2 meter distance from each other!).
The morning session will begin at 11am and run for 2 hours. We will have a 30 min lunch break and then a 2 hour afternoon session. There will not be a catering van on site and the track shop will not be open.
Individual practice sessions will be done by class and be of a race length. I will follow the format:
Prod A,
F2 (x2),
Junior (x2)
This event is very much the start of us looking to reopen – I intend to run another practice day in 2 weeks for all classes subject to the smooth running of this weeks.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
