Remaining Fixtures
As we are unable to run under the tightening restrictions due to come in Thursday – the next 2 scheduled fixtures (15th & 29th November) will not take place.

The Caged! Open scheduled for 6th December would run 4 days after the proposed end to this lockdown. We intend to run this fixture subject to A) lockdown being lifted and B) us being able to under guidelines at the time of the fixture.

This may involve a tweak to the format – we have currently allowed for 140 Bangers for this fixture – please keep the team at Caged! notified if you are unable to attend so we can adjust numbers and manage accordingly – any decision on this meeting needs to be made with the most accurate list of attending racers possible.

2020 Championships
For all classes, our 2020 championships have now concluded. Over the coming days, we will work out final standings and will announce in due course.
Presentations of championship awards will happen in an appropriate manner in due course.
Coming out of lockdown in June – we committed to complete as much of our 2020 fixtures as possible to, while running to guidelines and protecting all attending Standlake Arena – while not the conclusion to the season we wanted, I’m happy to say we delivered on that commitment and have allowed racers and race fans alike the chance to have a semblance of normality in a very abnormal year.

Thank you everyone who has attended, competed and helped our meetings to happen. I have enjoyed the closer contact with racers that the enforced booking in process has led to – we’ve welcomed a lot of new faces and I hope to see as many of them as possible back through the gates soon.

We hope to be able to run the Caged! Open as planned but this can only happen if we take the lockdown and threat of Covid seriously. Look after yourselves, stay safe, stay well and we look forward to welcoming you on track or trackside soon.
