2020 – remaining fixtures

Due to the ever evolving situation with covid, we haven’t decided a full fixture list for the remainder of, however the next few months are mapped out:

Sunday 2nd August

To make up for some of the missed fixtures and the fact that a summer holiday potentially isn’t on the cards for a lot of people this year, we have added a fixture to the calendar!

Racing on the day will be:

  • Street Bangers, Juniors, Prod A, Drift Rods, Hot Rods.
Sunday 16 August

I’d already confirmed that as we can not run at “capacity” this meeting will sadly not be the Trigger memorial this year – the meeting will return in 21 though – we will run a standard fixture on this day headlined by Unlimited National bangers and with the first outing for Teen Streets. Full fixture is:

  • Unlimited National Bangers, Teen Streets, Juniors, Prod A, 1600 Prod Rods, Hot Rods.
Monday 31st August

Traditionally our big van meeting – however, we do not feel it responsible of us as a promotion to run such a crowd drawing event and risk the health of our customers. It’s also not right to ask racers to make the effort when we have a reduced capacity. We will run the fixture however, regrettably the big Van’s will not run this year. Full fixture is:

  • Street Bangers, Juniors, F2, 1600 Prod Rods, Drift Rods.
Sunday 6th September

We will not run as a team meeting however will run 2 litre National Bangers as scheduled along with teen streets. Other supporting classes TBC.

Sunday 20th September

Mens and Ladies street bangers will run as scheduled along with F2 Stox – other supporting formula TBC.

Naturally, these could be revised at any time.

Meetings will continue to be booking only for racers and advance tickets only for spectators. Racers bookings will be taken from the Tuesday after a meeting for the following fixture, with spectator tickets on sale the Monday before a fixture. All dates and times will be communicated in advance. For street bangers and Standlake classes – there will be advance booking for registered racers only (space permitting). For national bangers, you will need to confirm who you are licenced with when booking.

Given the restrictions we are likely to run to, we are looking at rotating the support formula as shown above. If we do not see good numbers in any class, that class could well be cut from future events.

There may well be tweaks to the booking / prepayment systems for meetings, as I’ve always said this is a learning curve for us, however while there are still covid restrictions to consider, we will still be running an advance booking / ticket & advance payment only policy.

Numbers permitted for future meetings (racers and spectators) are dependent on people working with us and demonstrating compliance with the guidelines we are running to.

Please keep checking here and on our facebook page for more info

Hope this makes sense – again, thank you for all support at these times

Matt
